Jules Svidunovich on Personal and Professional Responsibility

As a manager and 25-year employee of a lawn care service, Jules Svidunovich has had plenty of time to build his professional profile and create a name for himself as a reliable, valuable employee, both to his customers and to his superiors. A major part of creating that name involves establishing his professional and personal responsibility. Jules Svidunovich knows he must demonstrate a commitment not just to doing his job well, but to be constantly seeking out opportunities to improve upon what he already knows.

With that in mind, Jules Svidunovich is sure to maintain strong levels of involvement in continuing education. Thankfully, there is ample opportunity for adult schooling in his area, and Jules Svidunovich is constantly on the lookout for courses to take or certifications to earn that will help him to do his job better. Not only does continuing education serve as a way for Jules Svidunovich to know more about his profession, but it can also license him as qualified to perform tasks he might not otherwise have been able to.

For example, Jules Svidunovich has a license in ornamental trees for the state of Pennsylvania. Many of his customers do not simply have lawns of grass that require care. Especially in some of the more rural areas, people also have trees and other landscaping. Jules Svidunovich’s knowledge of ornamental trees qualifies him to safely assess a customer’s lawn and determine how to best help them with their lawn care. If he had not taken the time to seek out further education, he knows this is not a skill he would be able to bring to the table.
